I recently acquired a plate block of US 2109 - Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and, when I put the black light on it - lo and behold no tagging! I compared with other stamps of the same period, and it's quite clear this is not tagged. However, when I go to the Scott Specialized catalogue, it says that the value of 2109a is 65.00. What I can't tell is if that's for a plate block or for a single.

Any guidance here would be welcome.

Thanks.

The pricing would be for a single.

Alan B,

My 2010 Scott Specialized has $75.00 for MNH 2109a. And as Angore said, that would be for a single. So looks like you have quite a good find!

"Black lights" are long-wave UV. The taggent on US stamps "glows" under short-wave UV, not long-wave UV.

dkabq8: Thank you for your comment. I was being generic when I used the term "black light" I actually have both short wave and long wave lights, and am aware of the difference.
