I totally agree - some of the letters on the left stamp are incomplete because of a lack of ink

I'm inclined to guess it's one good strike. I think a second strike would be evident at the ends of letters? Yours look crisp to me.

Here is one of mine (four of mine?) I posted a few years back.





The consensus here at the time was that mine was just a kiss and didn't count as a 140a. (Totally different situation, I know...you don't get that many chances to post KGV surcharges, so you take them where you can get them.)
