All of the major hingeless album makers use oversized pages compared to letter/A4. If anything, standard 8.5x11 pages are greatly undersized compared to what most people are used to working with.
I decided to re-activate a collection I have on Palo pages after reading this thread and sent them an order Monday afternoon. It was on my doorstep midday Wednesday. Incredible service, I live about 600 miles away. They are not cheap. But they do not look or feel cheap, either.
I find Palo pages look really pretty and the fact that they have pages for entities or time periods no other publisher covers is a definite bonus.
But i'll stick to designing my own pages on Varios. That way I can integrate varieties into the main pages as I wish rather than shunting them off into supplemental pages because the preprinted album lacks spaces for them.
