The ZIP code on two of my FDCs Scott# 3310-3313 was identified as having the incorrect ZIP code. The applied ZIP for Honolulu, HI is 98620 but should be 96820. I have had these covers since 1999 but never heard much about the issue. Now I am wondering what is generally known about these covers with the wrong ZIP code.
Any information is appreciated.
Pete

Pete, have you tried the AFDCS, the American First Day Cover Society? They can be reached at www.afdcs.org and I am sure they will help you

Hi Peter, (feels like I am writing to myself)
No, I did not know about them, but will try to contact them.
Thank you very much,
Pete

With the same names and avatars I thought I was witnessing a one person conversation.
