I used to use carbon tetra chloride for watermarks. Do people use it still or should I use a less toxic fluid

Carbon tetrachloride is extremely toxic for you and the environment. Please do not use and drop off at an hazardous waste disposal site. There are safer products for anything carbon tet was used for in the past.

Ronsonol lighter fluid is the go-to watermark detection fluid these days. Don't smoke or use candles while using it.
