My Scott Specialized US Catalog goes to 2016 and this stamp isn't there. Is it 2017 perhaps ?

Basically yes, but they are not included in the yearly stamp count because they are Back of the Book. They are called ATM stamps.

I looked at WNS
http://www.wnsstamps.post/en/about

Surprised to see, even the 2016 US are not addressed as yet.

Rod, these things have been around for a while in all kinds of countries. Are any of these showing up anywhere? Catalog-wise I mean,

Peter

Peter,
can only speak for Australia.

The National Stamp catalogue (Seven Seas ) lists just about everything to do postally.
They list Framas and Counter printed stamps.

Perhaps Kirk can confirm with his new Aussie Catalogue

Very informative and quite interesting. Thank you.
Now I know to put them BOB. I've got at least three, maybe more, depending on whether I find varieties.
Have any been identified ?

After I posted the last response I started thinking; there are more questions that come to mind.
How are these stamps distributed ? Does the user download and print on his computer ? If so, how are they attached...are they self-adhesive or water activated ? What kind of paper must he use ?
And finally, will they replace coils in part or in whole ?

I gave you the answer earlier but thanks to you asking this on two different posts you must have missed my previous answer.
These are sold in the post office lobby through a machine. That way you can buy stamps after the counter closes. The stamps are ready to use - they are self adhesive. And no, they do not replace coils or anything else - they are just another way of buying stamps
