The stamp is a 2 cent Washington (probably Scott #210). The Vaughan Seed Store was opened in 1876 by John Vaughan in Chicago, IL., shortly becoming one of the largest wholesaler and retailer of horticultural items. The company continued business until it closed its doors in 2009. This cover comes with some great Illinois, Indiana history. Don't miss out.
