Does anyone shop for stamps on ecrater.com?

https://www.ecrater.com/filter.php?...894238&srn=0

The site seems to have a higher concentration of clueless sellers than ebay. Does cutting the edges off of images on search pages make buyers more eager to look at listings?

What about the following terms and conditins from one seller?

Quote:
Photograph of actual stamp.
All stamps are guaranteed sound unless otherwise noted in the description.
These stamps are not graded and grading is not offered. They are sold on an as is basis. Please examine photos of the stamps being offered very closely.
We do the best we can to replicate the stamp, variations among individual monitors mean that stamp photos are not 100% accurate in terms of brightness or color. We do not use stock photos. Please note that the material is with the posting department and they are not equipped to answer highly technical philatelic questions.
Offers not accepted.
Stamps are Original Gum or No Gum as Issued unless otherwise indicated. If hinge status is mentioned (NH, LH, HR, etc.), the stamp is mint.
Note: The purchase of our material implies that the buyer has thoroughly read the description, studied the photos, and understands and accepts our listing policies.

OVERSEAS SHIPPING POLICY
Packages under $50 can be sent via regular first class mail if the buyer is willing to accept the responsibility in the event of loss. Due to the high number of recent losses, packages over $50 in value and under 4 pounds in weight will be shipped via registered mail, a $14.95 fee which is added to the cost of the postage. (Postage is based on weight and destination.) Packages over 4 pounds will be sent via express mail and those charges are based on total weight and destination. Expensive packages will be sent with insurance at the seller's discretion.

Payment instructions including phone number and address can be found in the "Shipping and Payment" information for each lot.
Please note that as a regular business with the usual office hours, we are unable to invoice or respond to emails during non-business hours or on weekends.
International Buyers Please Note:
• Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
• Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
• These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up â€" do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
• We do not mark merchandise below value or as 'gifts' - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

Returns:

There is a 14 day return policy to ensure customer satisfaction! All return postage is the responsibility of the buyer and is a non-refundable expense.
This return policy does not allow time for certification.

I guess the days of the Wild West are not yet done.

The $975,000 listing states that the stamps might still have the glue.

Talk about clueless............ I never knew the Jamestown series came in booklet panes. I am also confused as to how it can be both H and NH at the same time. Perhaps I have uncovered the philatelic equivalent of Schrödinger's cat.

Incidentally, this seller is not the same reputable BUYSTAMPS (Marc Bedrin) who sells on ebay; this is someone named South Sea Stamps.

and so the bunny hunt continues.

I wonder if they have 48 more of them so that I can mail my sister's birthday card.....although $245 postage is a bit steep....maybe they'll combine shipping.
