Notice the bottom row of perforations,
It does not look like a pulled perf.

For some reasons I can't find it in my regular catalogs:
the 50Aurar anniversary of Alþingi has a different design in Scott catalog - the perfs are slightly similar to the bottom of your stamp:

Tim, this is interesting.

Many Iceland stamps had perforation issues but those were all from H.H. Thiele in Copenhagen, whilst this Millenium issue was a De La Rue printing. It looks like a doubled pin, but I'm trying to get my head around the geometry of it. A nice oddity, and on one of my favourite issues too.

Aug-stamps, you need to look at the airmail issue which came immediately after the big millennium issue. That's where Tim's stamp comes from.

aug-stamps: The stamp you posted is from the 1930 Parliament set.
The one I posted is from the 1930 Airmail set.
