I inherited a stamp album that is old, here are 2 penny red stamps are they worth anything?

(You posted the same stamp twice.)

In general, presentation is everything. You need 4 good margins to get the highest value, which I don't see with your copies. They printed these stamps in the multi-millions, so although they are very old, they are probably worth less than $20 each.

re: the cross:

Not enough variation between what we can see and the common cross type to come up with any supportable notion of the origin.
The bulk of Maltese Crosses are of this type.
