Here are pictures of my great grandfathers stamp collection. There is 3 parts, whilst I take more pictures.

For now, any help would be useful, if there's any stamps that stand out in particular, and a rough value of the collection or individual stamps?

Here are the ones from Chile and Ecuador.

Any information at all would be really useful!

Thanks in advance!

Lydian, welcome to the forum. Looks like a great collection so far. I love the older ones, from an era where they still knew ho to make stamps. As far as value goes, I have no idea. But you can check with www.stampworld.com and find if there are any interesting ones here

Hi lydian

You should also add Colombia to the title(s).

Colombia and Ecuador (my collecting areas) are nice collections. However, from the scans, I do not see anything rare.

In Colombia, the first few may be "expensive" but one would have to look at the actual stamp(s) to see if they are not reprints. Also they are not in the best of shape, which would reduce any value.

In Ecuador there may be Seebecks (reprints using original plates) which are very common.

Still, I like the presentation. If I collected those countries, I wouldn't change much. Congrats on the collection.
