Hi guys

I am posting this possible constant variety for a member of the Hamilton Stamp Club, Ontario, Canada.

He showed me Scott 496 stamps.

Gerry Rogan does not have the computer skills to make his possible variety known to other stamp collectors. He approached me last night to ask my opinion whether or not he had a constant variety.

So I am doing it for him...so be nice to him (wink...wink)

He had 2 stock sheets in front of me, so I took pictures of it because we did not have access to a scanner...But you will get the drift with the pictures that follow.

He had previously checked many, many plate blocks of this Scott 496 and did not find this variety..I checked mine and singles and found no variety.

Robert

Here is the flaw which I have nicked named "green dot" for him.

Here is a cell picture of one of his Scott 496 stock sheets (again forgive the quality)

Here is his 2nd stock sheet.

I feel he has come across a constant variety not on plate sheets or plate blocks, but are only present on stock sheets.

HONEST OPINIONS WELCOME..IF IT IS A TRUE CONSTANT, I WILL FORWARD THE INFORMATION TO ROBIN HARRIS AT UNITRADE FOR GERRY.
