Ebay Increases Some Of Its Fees

Starting May 1, 2018, the yearly fee for a Basic Store subscription will change from $19.95/month to $21.95/month. The monthly fee for a Basic Store subscription
will change from $24.95/month to $27.95/month.When you exceed your 250 zero insertion fee listing allocation in fixed price listings, the insertion fee for each
fixed price listing will change from $0.20 to $0.25
There is no change to Premium and Anchor Store subscriptions.

Starter store sellers *new category) pay only 4.95c per listing (for their first 100), while Basic store sellers pay 8.78c per listing (for their first 250)

4.95c 8.78c This is the first time I've seen anything priced like this. Someone must have been very busy to arrive at these exact fee amounts lol.

There will also be a new top tier store subscription for only a mere $2,999.95/mo with a year plan - The Enterprise. It for those folks with 100,000 store items, but only 2,500 auction items per month. How many stamp or cover dealers will go for this plan?

Also there's other changes for returns, etc. too if you're chasing the TRS status. At least having to adapt to the ebay catalog shouldn't affect us. It's going to suck for those who sell retail goods.

Economics 101 and 102:

When the cost of doing business exceeds the economic benefit (profit) of doing business the business disappears.

When the cost of doing business and the profit margin needed to keep the business viable drives the price of the goods sold beyond their true value to the customer customers disappear; hence, refer back to the previous rule.
