My goal is to make a dent in an accumulation of stamps acquired from the mid-1990s until about 2003/4 that have been patiently sitting in boxes since then.
I am putting together a 2016 set of Scott catalogues to allow me to identify and organize while mounting as many stamps as possible in my two volume Statesman Deluxe.

Goals
1. Transfer stamps from a worn Scott Junior International to a much nicer Big Blue Vol 1. 2. Sort through a couple of boxes and albums. 3. Continue to sell/trade the duplicates and stamps that have not been touched in years. 4. Read more philatelic literature. I just bought about 10 new books. 5. Attend and participate in my local club more. Write 3 articles for newsletter, give 2 programs, buy/sell/trade regularly. 6. Re-inventory and scan and check for varieties my US collection with my new digital microscope.
The order is not set so any one of these may be the item of the month at any time.

My goals 1) Get the Australia, Malaya-Singapore and Canada collections I inherited from my father finally organized into my Vario Album Setup. 2) Attend Stampshow 18 here in Columbus in August (thankfully should be fully recovered by that point!) those are the two goals for this year. And as I still have another 4 months of sick leave from work for my transplant recovery, I might even complete parts of #1. |

My goal is to only buy a very limited number of top quality sets and singles to reduce the rate of acquisition and spend more time organizing and mounting what I already have. |

Quote: I'm trying to fill the empty spaces in my U.S. album with decently centered MNH examples, but it's gotten to the point where the cost makes this a rather slow process. I'm mostly dealing with the Fourth Bureau Issue right now, and there are six spaces that I'm particularly aiming to fill this year, ideally by the end of WESTPEX. One down (Scott #566), five to go. |

- Organize and Mount the post 2000 US Definitives. They are still in the wrappers for 6+ months now
- Fill the long pending Indian (Pre-1970) Stamps
- Complete loading atleast 1/3 of my 1943 Junior Scott WW
Lets see how far I can get |

Good health and happy days for you Don! Quote: . My main goal for 2018 is to continue having fun with my stamp collection. As long as that happens 2018 will have been a good year for stamps. I aim for the same, well said Yobo! In particular I continue to transfer my WW collection to self-designed pages for the classics and to Vario pages from 1940/53. Making the pages and the set-up takes more time than the transfer in itself, but I'm enjoying it big time! |

Get rid of all the stuff I don't need via ebay. That's a huge lot of kilo, off-paper kilo, albums, album sheets, stockbooks of stamps etc. Organize and sell some of my cover stockpile. Sort out some of the stamps I have piling up in shoeboxes. |

Quote: What is it with us collectors and shoe boxes? Shoe boxes are free Shoe boxes are a handy size - they take a manageable amount of stamps, covers or whatever Shoe boxes stack neatly Shoe boxes often come in a fairly consistent size Saying all that something drives me to make things even more consistent, and the variations in size between shoe boxes can waste space on the shelves, so I've just bought half a dozen "shoe box size" boxes from WH Smiths which were on a buy two get one free offer |

I use shoe boxes for various items (loose stamps, mounts)- very versatile due to size and stacking. |

I don't have any shoe boxes with philatelic material in them, though I do have some containing old audio cassettes and another filled with 25-year-old Nightmare Before Christmas wristwatches from Burger King. I do have some decorative file boxes of comparable size, however, mostly used to file my picture postcards, though I also have one containing random covers and such. |

1. Convert my website to responsive design (90% done). 2. Work my way through the (virtually) infinite backlog of U.S. revenue material I have. 3. Venture into 20th century revenue material and "deeper" back of book (already begun). 4. Add "virtual stamp albums" to my website as an alternate presentation to the identification grids I have, and extend them to more than just the 1st 3 issues. 5. Organize and winnow down 2 rooms of stamp lot/accumulation storage. 6. Buy less, sell/trade more (easier said than done!). |

I need to buy a good (real good) UV light before proceeding with my UK collection. I have already posted the MNH USA collection for 2017. The KGVI MH collection is on hold although I would like to complete Kuwait within the next thee months.
