Canceled Stamp Sheets From Belgium

In my great-grandfather's stamp collection that I inherited, I found 5 sheets of paper that seem to be some sort of commemorative set of Belgian stamps. All the sheets have "Société de Publicité W. A. CLAEYS, S.A." written at the top. Each sheet has several stamps attached by the top left corner of the gum backing, and each stamp has been canceled on the sheet itself. I have done Internet searches, but to no avail. Does anyone have any information on these? I have attached a photo of one of the sheets. The writing in the upper right-hand corner is my great-grandfather's.

Nice Belgian railway officials. To the best of my knowledge, it would appear that the society involved created this "Memory Sheet". Other countries have done this as well, Germany for one example.

Different societies have done this for similar events and a lot will not be catalogued.

I would say that the stamps are worth the same or somewhat less if detached. They are and have all the appearance of being cancelled-to-order/favor cancelled. So best to keep the sheets intact.

Value is probably around that of used stamps or less. Again, unless something is particularly special about the cancels, they are CTO/favor cancelled. This sheet might have been sold for a premium at the time to support a charity, but there isn't a lot of demand for such things nowadays. In essence, it's worth whatever you can get for it.

I agree with hy-brasil. There really isn't any way to determine a value on these "Memory Sheets" because, to the best of my knowledge anyway, there isn't a catalogue or listing on these. A quantity produced would be hard to determine and is unknown.
