I have a used 78c certified by PSE in December 2002. It is signed by Randy Shoemaker but I liked the older PSE certificates where they listed the experts signing off on the opinion. Lacking that, does anyone on this forum know who would have been certifying items like for PSE besides Mr Shoemaker at that time?

Here is an article in Linn's by Bill Weiss:

https://www.linns.com/news/us-stamp...le-worl.html

In it he states that he started expertising US material in the mid-1990's for PSE and started his own service around 2007. He doesn't say when he stopped expertising for PSE (if he did stop before his death).

I recall getting early PSE certificates (post-card size with one side an enlarged photo of the item and the other side the opinion) with Richard Champagne as one of the expertizers. I believe this was earlier than 2002, however.
