Is this Scott #25 with a guide dot? and the stamp's color?? The stamp also seems to have been creased down the middle. Must of happened before it was applied to the cover because the cover isn't folded.

Yes its a Ty I #25 with a guide dot.
The stamp is heavily oxidized/sulfuretted, thus, the blackish areas.

Your stamp does look creased. I have one on cover (and seen others) that have some sort of glue/gum line going down the stamp which can be easily confused with a crease. Not sure what may have caused it.

I thought so too at first Don. But after examining it through a scope I found it is a trail of some sort of gum like substance. I had noticed this in another individuals stamp and they too said it was not a crease but much like mine. I have no clue what might have caused it.
