I thought everyone would enjoy looking back in time to 1937. Notice how the Scott numbering system is different:





And there they have a place for the 30 and 90 cent stamps as imperforates that were never issued (except as proofs):




And here is a stamp that got two Scott numbers:



And the hinges have the name of the manufacturer printed on them:

Gee, it looks in pretty good shape. I wonder which stamps have been dropped since 1037 besides those imperforate proof issues.

Does your album have all the type identifiers in the back of the album?
