In recent times, many countries print self-adhesive postal stamps. (I personally do not like them).
I am a fan of old postage stamps and their creation (when the back have a sticky gum)

I wonder how you put self-adhesive stamps on album pages?

- Do you put them in a PVC holder? How?
- How detaching the self-adhesive stamp (when they are next to each other if we see perforation)?

example: if you have three postal stamps together and the fourth one is missing (from the 4 stamps block). etc ...
Is there any kind of illustrative example?
Best regards to all

johnc,

Showgard and others make mounts in all sizes for souvenir sheets. Like you, I do not like the stamps of today and only purchase keep my collection current. They are nothing more than children's stickers.

I know it sounds dumb but I use either side or postage and save one of the middle ones. A better idea?

Collecting self-adhesives can be a hassle. If the stamps do not have the die cutting through the liner then separating can be tricky. You have to fold sides around the stamp and then a slice with a sharp knife and some skill/care. The other approach is to remove surrounding stamps but then you have to use them or discard them - a pain. I use the knife approach.

You collect them with the release liner still attached. Since I only have Mint self-adhesives, I put them in a standard stamp mount but wonder if a hinge would adhere to the liner easily.

Hi guys
Thanks for participating in the topic.
So, you've confirmed my thinking about self-adhesive stamps.
I plan this month to scan self-adhesives stamps and update my web homepage. It is mainly about self-adhesive postal stamps.
I plan to change all my self-adhesive post stamps for the elderly, which I miss.
I have one question but I will open a new topic.
Best regards
