Who can tell the year of issue of this Romanian stamp ?

I think this is just a label since stamps typically had their currency LEI (singular LEU) on their stamps.

This has a royal crown on the arms so perhaps this dates from before 1947. Then again it may be in commemoration of the deposed king. The map is interesting in that it shows the pre-1940 borders, but again, this might be nostalgia for Greater Romania.

Hi,

This is a label issued by a Romanian exile group in Spain in 1956.

It's one of a set of six marking an international agricultural exhibition.

I'd go with the 1956 date used in the specialist Romania web sites.

The web site for Richard Witt's collection is very useful but the information isn't always correct.
