Turkey A19 B24 ? Used-F And Mh-F Your Help Please

6 pointed star for both specimens
B24 used was my first Turkey stamp with your opinion
Scott does not evaluate a MH-F, just a used ??

Hi Renden,

The Scott illustration number here is A21 (as used for the stamps of 1909) not A19.

The A19 stamps don't have the white area below the text under the toughra.

As you say it's the six-pointed star overprint so these are Sc. #B8.

Has to be the most common mistake in all of Turkey stamps...

Two key differences highlighted by arrows: the 'tughra' design & the placement of the arabic script.

We've had the debate over the B24 a few times - it is an ongoing debate.

Scott only lists the used value - and in italics. Because they don't have enough info on previous sales & therefore, value.

I contend that the stamp does not exist. Isfila does not list it. I have never seen this stamp. It should be a 6-pointed semi-postal overprint on design A19, WITHOUT a discount overprint. The version that has the discount overprint is common - that is stamp B26.
