I'm never really sure about color when I scan stamps...but here are five from the collection my father-in-law gave me. Obvious condition issues:

The stamps all look genuine to me.

The first stamp has a strike of the A05 of Nassau, also genuine I'd say. This cancellation was sent to Nassau in 1858. The 4d, issued in June 1861, was for the 1/2oz letter rate for the Western Hemisphere.
