hey guys this is all of the german stamps in my collection, aside from a box of loose stamps I need to go thru

trying to find out more about them. think many are worthless but some of the sheets I think hold value

trades for usa stamps/buyers welcome

looking to get rid of my foreign collections

anything you guys can tell me would be great, about particular stamps and or value of whole collection.. probably going to post on ebay -- want to find out more about them before I do tho -- && I wanna give sc.org members first dibs :)

25+ more countries to come .. looking to focus the collection around usa/united nations/air mail stamps

On figure 16, the 3 stamps on top (with 1957, 1958 and 1959 stamped on them) are belgian precancels

How are you going to give us first dibs ???? --Most wouldn't get you 2 cents . A few are interesting, I like the blue fleas . A few of the others like the SS stamps , the Soviet Occup., the Goethe issues and I would buy two of the sheets because of possible plate flaws, but most are too common to have a price .

If I may humbly suggest, don't post so much at one time. In general, these seem to be the more common varieties. Any stamp that is damaged is worthless; meaning a corner torn off, a piece missing out of the side, etc.

If you live in the US, you may want to visit a local library and check out the Scott catalogue for the letter G. As you've posted them, you have a mixture of pre-World War II German stamps; occupation stamps by Germany during the war; post war West German stamps; post war East German stamps; various post war occupation stamps by the French and Russians. I also see at least one stamp from Bavaria, when that state still issued its own stamps. While your stamps may all be "German area," except the three I list below; there are different countries represented. If you hope to sell these, you will need a better, more refined, sort.

On Figure 16, the three stamps at the top, with pre-cancel dates, are Belgian, not German. (oops, Vincent already flagged these)

The "Blue Flea" stamps mentioned by Floortrader are in the top right of Figure 15. They are postal tax stamps.

I looked up the catalog value of the 3 belgian precancels in the Belgium Official Stamp Catalog of 2011 and the value for the first one is €0.50 the second one €1.50 and the last one €2.00 (that's about $0.6, $1.8 and $2.45) for fine condition

Figure 17, top row, far right is an official stamp from Norway. Scott #O38A, if the color is scarlet rather than red brown.
