Are you bored and looking for a new area to collect?..consider the Gold Coast...its not a lot of stamps..unless you cross over into Ghana at 1957...a fellow in our club started collecting Gold Coast/Ghana recently and he has a fine selection...the stamps seem readily available mint or used and are not expensive...in building his collection he has of course had to acquire a bunch of duplicates ...i am going to take some from him to color my pages..so its a win win situation..he gets rid of duplicates and I get pre 1969 stamps at a very fair price ....

Dianne:

The Gold Coast was a Britsh Colony, and one of the first in Africa to gain it's independence. When most of these countries became independent, they changed their name.

I figured it was something like that I'd better studdy up on my History. It will make a difference when I set up my albums.

Thanks David.
