Good Morning,

I'd like someone besides myself to have a look at this Great Britain 1881 1p S.C. #89 stamp with 16 dots please. The frame appears to have several errors or issues.

Please have a look and let me know what you think or if you see anything else wrong.

Maybe someone has this book, If it's listed as a plate flaw,
it should be inside.

I have a Stanley Gibbon, Specialisedstamp Catalogue GB vol.i Queen Victoria 2nd edition of 1967 and none of these flaws are mentioned.But it does say "This issue is very fully treated in "The Penny Lilac, part 1" by R.A.G.Lee Later editions of this catlogue are much more detailed I believe,so perhaps this variety is dealt with in a more modern edition.

Thank you all for your help - I'll hold off on any more book purchases but will keep this one in mind. Have to believe this one is legitimate given the scale of production.
