Tell me, how would you grade this stamp?
Is the title accurate?

Maybe he was abbreviating "Minuteman".

I would stipulate that the stamp was 'mint-ed' at some point.

I didn't realize that this stamp had a "fantastic" catalog value. Even in MNH it's $30 or so. I guess the 99 cents + 49 cent postage isn't too far out of line but the quality of the "deal" drops quite a bit. He actually does have a mint one for sale also at $1.99 that is MH.

I think I know what happened here. look at his other offerings, nothing terrific but he is selling mostly mint stamps in the $10 range or so, a few of them look like decent buys. I'd bet this was a case of listing fatigue. He was using the 'sell similar' function and failed to change the title and write up to fit.

I doubt the lister has a lot of knowledge of stamps and a nicely used stamp and the term "mint" varies.

He may have no idea what a 'mint' stamp is, Maybe thinks it means 'nice'.

I often look for second hand hingeless albums and have seen sellers post a listing of a 'Lindner' album when in fact they picture a Lighthouse or Schaubek. I think some sellers think 'Lindner' is stamp language for hingeless.

In the land of ebay this is considered a rare MNH used lightly unmounted post office fresh gem.

He hasn't got a clue what "mint" means. Probably thinks it means "really nice" or some such nonsense.

You just to realize the word "mint condition" is not just a philatelic term like this car is in mint condition.

Yes, the cancel, creases, and paper remnants tell you that this person has no understanding of philatelic terms.

You think the seller would had received more if he had mentioned the very rare upside down reversed postage hand stamped cancel?
