Hello All,

I am an antique dealer who recently came across this small collection of Hawaiian stamps for sale. Coins are more my area and I don't know a lot about stamps, so was wondering what a fair price to pay might be. I had a look on ebay and prices vary greatly for these!

You will also note a Penny Black and Penny Blue in the mix, for which any information would also be appreciated.

Happy to take more pictures of any particular stamps if needed, they are currently on loan in my possession from the seller.

Thanks!

Don't have a catalog in front of me for the Hawaiian stamps but the QV penny black and blue are minimal value due to no margins. Buyers of these like to see a minimum of 3 margins and 4 margin copies sell very well and are still in high demand, especially if it's a sought after plate number.

Setting aside the scarcer plates, a decent, four-margin 1d black will cost around £100. 1840 2d blues go higher, but this is, in any case, the second, 1841 issue with a line above the denomination.

Hi: You could try this Stamp Dealer in Hawaii. His prices may give
you an idea. They are on the higher end though..IMO.He has a nice
selection with the prices for singles & sets..
(Some of your stamps have short or no perfs;that means price way down.
I counted at least 8 stamps with short perfs.I think 45$ for the lot.)(Hawaii)
The back of the stamps count too.Thins? that means strike 3.
You can just look in e bay in the sold listings ..
