Here is a scott 73 with, I think, a double transfer. Three corners look to have some doubling.

Yes, lower left corner looks like a good double transfer. It doesn't add too much value, but a keeper, for sure.

Thanks.

Yes the stamp is not in great condition, so realise its not valuable.

But hopefully my scans are good enough to see the variety clearly, so may help others to see what we are talking about. And of course, confirm it for me.

Many of my varieties are in pretty bad shape, as you will see as time goes on. But I think you will like them anyway.

Ralph has a page of these on his fantastic site at re-entries.com.

If you have not visited, have a look. You will not be disappointed

I did not want to add a link in case its not allowed.

Dynamode, thanks for your multiple postings that show abnormal markings. It's always nice to see the visual nuances in stamps.

No problem.

A shedload more to come.

I got a bit carried away yesterday, and probably posted too many for my first time here.

I did not think I would get so many replies so fast. Not that i`m complaining, this seems a great place to be a part of.

Oh wow! This is cool, I have one that is scary similar. I wonder if this is a known plateable/plated re-entry position? This one has a blurred mark on the reverse (maybe an expert mark, unsure).

DefCon22. Your stamp looks to me to have a shift up at the top, and to the left low. Nice find.

Nice, I thought it looked very similar to yours. I think there is a slight showing in the lower right, but the scan doesn't capture much of it. I might be wrong. I'll have to put it under the endoscope and see if I can capture it. Would be really cool if it was a new shift.

I've always wanted to name something like that. Preston, Atherton Metzger and then the.... "Killer Unicorn"? shift. Or maybe just a symbol like "formerly known as Prince".
