We have a friend who gives us his Scotts Stamp Monthlys when he is finished reading..in the October issue theres an excellent article ..starts out with a Coober Pedy cover and then talks about the rich mineral resources of Australia and the "fossickers". I think I know someone on the forum who may be interested !!
This is a term used for all who wander beaches looking for flopsom and jet-som or beach demure the term was fossick,now applied to all who fossick with metal detectors and yes Phil I'm very interested though there are others here on the forum that fossick as well.

Dude, metal detecting is a blast! And it's a good way for your spouse to get you out of the house, (i.e. stamp room) for a while on a nice day!
