Printing Error On Qeii Coronation Stamp

Apparently the Queen's Coronation stamp released April 20th has some copies printed on the gum side. Canada Post claims some may be some out there. Anyone have one or know how to tell if it's an affected stamp?

not totally sure how they do it in Canada, but usually the sheets are gummed after printing, which means the gum is on the front, over the ink.
again, not being familiar with Canada's production process, I can only relate my experience with Serbian errors of this type. The design will usually appear faded and less sharp, as the gum coating mottles the design. Also, the front side will have the tackiness of the gum quite obvious.

They noted printed on wrong side, so I guess sticker side, but it's not clear...

I have some booklets, but they appear OK.

My uncut press sheet and booklets are normal as well.

To teawithpuppits-It's true. They do exist! I got lucky for the first time and got a couple. Being self adhesives, not like regular gummed stamps as Kuhil mentioned; they should have stickey gum on back of stamp. Because of the error they are printed on the backing paper which has a shiny surface, therefore "ungummed stamps". The gum is still on the stamp paper which is now the cover. So the paper was fed in upside down during printing. They were correctly die cut. What ever you do, don't lift the stamp to check for glossy back. Just get out that trusted longwave UV light and look at the item. Normal cover will"flouresce while the stamps will appear dull, and so the "error booklet" cover will appear dull and the stamps will flouresce. Very popular commerative "Queen" stamp booklet compared to definitives. I have not heard or seen any others mentioned anywhere else or for sale. See attached photos to compare. Have fun searching as I went to 20 P.O. and only found them in 1 SDM location. Good luck hunting.

If the "stamps" were printed on the cover paper and the stamp paper became the cover, why do the non-glued "stamps" not simply fall off - as they are die cut on all four sides?

Da! BlackJag, if the stickey gum holds the regular stamps in place, then of course it will still stick if printed in reverse. It is still the same papers stuck together.

Duh is right. My bad !

Just as an update on this error booklet. It was listed in Canadian 2019 Unitrade catalogue as Bk 699i @ $50. Now in 2020 it is listed @ $500.00.
