Postal Stationery during the King George VI era (1938-1952) includes a number of very interesting items, including the introduction of Aerogrammes.
As far as I know, the only catalog that comprehensively listed postal stationery was the Higgins and Gage World Postal Stationery Catalog. Prior to selling the rights to Auktionen-Gaertner, Classic Philatelics owned the catalog. The last update I have from them is dated 1982, so it has been out of print for some time.
When Classic Philatelics stopped publishing, I contacted Auktionen-Gaertner and they gave me permission to publish the King George listings on my website. If you collect King George VI Postal Stationery, please feel free to check out the listings. Unfortunately there are no pictures, but each listing is described. Note that there is a drop down box where you can select from Aerogrammes, Lettercards, Envelopes, Military, Official, Postcards, Registered, and Wrappers (for newspapers).
