Here is Denmark's May 2, 1991 stamp (Facit #1029) commemorating the 750th anniversary of the Jutland Law. Stamp depicts the front page of a 1280's manuscript explaining "Law is the foundation of every nation."  |

These 1958 DDR (East Germany) "Central Courier Service" official administrative mail stamps use letter codes in front of six-digit numbers to indicate the cities of origin. From Michel Deutschland-Spezial catalog, "The introduction of a Central Courier Service was a measure to secure the dispatch and delivery of the internal service mail of important authorities and industrial companies."   |
