Here is Denmark's September 8, 1983 5 kr stamp commemorating the 300th anniversary of the Law of Christian V. Stamp depicts the title page of Danske Lov. From wikipedia, "Danske Lov (Eng: Danish Code) is the title of the Danish statute book from 1683 that previously formed the basis for the Danish legislation."  |

Thanks. In September or October of 1920, Slovenia (of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes) issued a set of 6 semi-postal "Carinthia Plebiscite" stamps by overprinting an earlier 2 f newspaper stamp. The dark red overprints effectively obliterated the putto, or cherub design of the original stamp. The 45 para value (Mi #142) of the set is shown here.  |

Here is Panama's set of two airmail stamps (Sc #s C138-9) issued on July 15, 1953 to commemorate the centenary of La Estrella de Panama (Eng.: The Star of Panama) newspaper. Stamp image shows the title page of the Tuesday, February 1, 1853 edition of the newspaper.   |

On August 20, 1965 Honduras issued a set of 8 airmail stamps to commemorate the death centenary of Father Manuel Subirana. Then, on March 12, 1966, overprinted varieties of seven of the eight Father Subirana stamps were issued to commemorate Pope Paul VI's visit to the United Nations in NYC on October 4, 1965. The .08 lempira value (Sc #C382) of the overprinted set is shown here.  |

Here is the 10c value (Sc #892) from El Salvador's September 14, 1977 set of four identically- designed (but with frames of different colors) stamps commemorating the 50th anniversary of radio broadcasting in the country. ASDER is the acronym for Salvadoran Radio Broadcasters Association.  |
