Greetings, I collected when I was in the Army retiring in 1998. I am just now picking the hobby back up. I plan to concentrate on Belgium as a Country and Railroads as a Topical.

Welcome, RW! You must have spent time at NATO HQ I am guessing from your interest in Belgium. Those SD railroads, or railroads in general.

Hey, I spent some time in SD! Rapid City - stationed at Ellsworth AFB.
Loved Rapid City and the Black Hills! I have a daughter and her family in Fargo area so still get up that way once in awhile.

Hello again,
I spent my military time in Heilbronn, West Germany, since then of course it is just Germany.

I did spend a few weeks in NATO Schools but they were in Bavaria and not Belgium.

I chose Belgium because one can actually start with Stamp #1 without going bankrupt, I am nearing real retirement age so Belgium won the coin toss. I do still have quite a Germania collection but it can sit for awhile.

The railroad topical is because I always have liked trains, nothing specific, just a good way enjoy trains without having a large model railroad is my thought.

Probably too much info but I haven't learned how to respond to individual comments yet.

I like train stamps also ah3n I do come across them. I collect some of e everything.
