Unfortunately, not all share a common sense of humor - I for one, have been enjoying the "pun"ishment. Would be nice if more folks just lightened up a bit, and roll with the fun (mebbe some peanut butter and jam with that roll - but no toe jam please!)
This cover is one of the few used during the short trial period of the "advertising stamp" showing legal usage until the USPS determined it was illegal since the stamp was not directly attached to the cover.
I can't find anything about this rule. I wonder if it would matter if the stamp was half on the envelope and half on the label. I don't really see the why this would concern advertisers. They could still put the label on the envelope somewhere. Interesting.
