Update on the reconfigured 'active selling' list -- it now seems to have the correct numbers of views and watchers (at least they make sense -- not more watchers than views!), but the number of bids listed at the top is always wrong. They are getting there, I suppose.

As for selling, I found about 6 months ago the last time they made massive changes, the only way to be able to list with any ease was always to 'sell similar', even if the next item was nothing like the one you just listed. Much easier to start from an established format than go through their whole idiotic category selection process. Just have to be careful to check all the new details are correct!!

I disagree completely. Just make an ebay listing template online for the type of item you are selling, and then use the appropriate template when listing. That's a much better starting point.

I must have 20+ listing templates for various types of items (U.S. stamps, world stamps, revenue documents, First Day Covers, world coins, etc.).

The only time I ever use "sell similar" is if it is a near exact duplicate of the original item.
