I'm not actively collecting 1˘ Franklins any longer because I've moved to Norway, and buying and selling in the US market is just too difficult for me from here. I still very much enjoy studying this issue, however, and I continue to follow all of the 1˘ Franklin threads.

jaxom100 - You must have spent an enormous number of hours putting together the 1˘ Plating Initiative on Stamp Smarter, and it is one of the places I always look to for known examples of existing plate positions. I have addition to the Neinken maps that I bring to your attention just for completeness of your resource. It is 29R12 from Neinken's book, p. 489.

widglo46, that Neinken drawing is already in the database.

I am currently working on the left pane of plate 1 late.
Adding images, creating a recut chart, redoing the guide dot chart, and creating ID images. Almost half done.

jaxum100 - When I look at the Stamp Smarter feature, there is no image at 29R12. Shouldn't it be with the others in the right pane? Maybe Don slipped up and it didn't find its spot.

Widglo, ahh. I had the image on file but did not check the database. It is in there now. The only one missing now is 20R12.

Doug, yes. I have your images for plate 1 late left, unless you have new ones.
I have two plate reconstructions that I am separating out the images, verifying and filling the holes in the database.

A thread on Plate 12 centerlines, and whether they ever had perforations or not.
