Hello,
New here.
A few years back my wife brought a box with thousands of stamps. A couple of months ago I started to go through it and I'm hooked. I've never collected stamps before. A good number of them are Washington stamps, some early to more recent ones. What is of interest to me are these older engraved Washington stamps because of the artistry, design, engraving, the variation in the ink, colors, the printing technique and last but not least, how GW is depicted and drawn. I'm an artist and did lots of printmaking in my younger years. Modern stamps don't interest me at all.
Anybody here interested in discussing Washington stamps?
Thank you!

Hi Qu, and welcome. I think you found a place with quite a lot of likeminded people. Personally, I love engraved stamps of any kind, even more modern ones, but I do agree with you basically
