From a 50# mission mix almost 50 years ago, I think I still have at least 10,000 of these. That's over a million dollars. It must be really rare because he took 12 pictures of it....but just the front.

It looks like he did a copy/paste for the description. Since he obviously knows nothing about what he's selling, he had to.

We laugh at these things, forgetting the harm these dullards do to our hobby. We already see it on here and other boards. Some guy finds a ratty album or an old box with worthless junk and thinks it's a gold mine. Rather than seeking advice they throw it out, hoping it sticks. Or if they do seek advice, they refuse to accept it.

With only 130 billion printed I can see how these might be scarce.........

This one has a crease in it. Can you imagine what a good looking one will sell for?

This one is "marked down". It popped up in a ebay sponsored ad. File this under nice attempt but wrong design. Scott lists the 10 cent perf 10 on the bottom or top as 562c.

I use to sell mixture boxes at stamp bourse around Chicago for many years and I always had customers who never looked at my regular inventory ,they always wanted to know how many stamps were in the boxes that I was selling . They didn't look thru the boxes for value all that interest them was how many stamps did they get for their $25.00 . So I was put in a situation of buying real worthless material at public auctions just to keep that number of stamps high in the boxes.....worthless filler ? They would not buy unless the number of stamps was high .

I'm going to say it for the 100th time. As long as ebay has free listings we are going to see this crap!

If they had to pay a listing fee it would come to an end pretty quickly.

Go back to listing fees for everything and reduce the final value fees to compensate.
