Here is another small accumulation of modern (and some not so modern) US stamps up for grabs. If you are interested, post a reply and I will randomly select a winner at the middle of the month (July 15).

dkabq8 - THANK YOU for this great modern used US mixture! I received your mixture from the first June 2018 giveaway, and found it to be a wonderful mixture with REALLY modern stamps, wide range of topics and denominations, many different! Also, on the side, your shipment was postage due, so when I picked it up from the PO, I became the new owner of a neat auxilliary marking cover! Thank you for your generosity to provide this fun giveaway contest. |

First of all, I am very pleased that the cover had this result. It was 21c due, but the only auxiliary markings are "FORWARD POSTAGE DUE", "POSTAGE DUE 21c", and a manuscript "LN 7-2". My first thought was that it was more than 1 ounce, but I then noticed that the ZIP code used was off by 1 digit (01740, and should have been 02740), SO maybe it was a FORWARDING charge of 21c? |
