As I go through a lot of images for the database, I occasionally run across a stamp that was misplated. I have caught a few and fix them. Well, today I found another misplaced image (50L1L) on the database. I thought, no big deal, looked around and found where it went, 60L1L. That is only a few changes and it can be fixed. Then I thought to look at the auction site because the image I had indicated Wagshal. What I found did not make me happy. It was a block of 9 that was misplated. That means I have to fix 9 images.
It was indicated as "pos 48-50--58-60--68-70L1L Siegel 994 Lot 779"
It is actually 58-60--68-70--78-80L1L. It should have been obvious to me because of the A-B-A relief.

Well, I got all the images changed and reloaded to database.
It only took an hour. I hope I did not make many more mistakes like this. But I am sure that I will find them.

I knew this would happen, and its not your fault.
Its one thing to get platings from a competent plater, and its another to get them from an auction description. Don't get me wrong - the auction catalogs are usually right...but 'usually' means there will be issues with some.

After you iterate on this a few times, it should tighten up pretty well. Good work!
