Hello To All. New Member Here, Interested In Selling My Precancel Collection.

Hello everyone. New member here from the great state of Ohio. I have no real interest in collecting, but I do have a massive hoard of precancel stamps I inherited years ago that I am sorting through to sell. I have come across some real nice ones, but as you know, precancels can sometimes be tricky to identify correctly. Recently, I came across one that I think might be a rare gem of a find, but I will need the trained eyes and opinion of an expert to help me on this one. Hopefully it is the Woodsfield, OH type 471 that I think it is. I have posted a topic with a pic of the stamp in the Precancel forum.

ebay can help a bit if you list it at a unreasonable price of say, $2500, then ask for offers. someone may laugh and give you a more reasonable price or even pay it if they think that its worth it.

I appreciate the advice, but I'm not looking to rip people off, or make them think that I'm trying to. I'm interested in correctly identifying a genuine article before I sell, and charging a fair price for it. It's hard enough to gain trust these days, so I'll just keep learning and try to correctly identify what I can, before I sell. Thank you for your response!
