Greetings to all…..I am a new member collecting US classics who got back into stamps three years ago after a 42 year hiatus.
My recent focus has been the 1851-57 3¢ plating. I recently built a web site about this and am now working to add more features to the web site's database driven plating wizard. A number of forum members have helped me with this website. Thank You! When I get to 50 posts I can provide the link.
I am currently building another website focused on new/returning collectors who want to achieve challenging attractive completeness of a US Classics stamp collection without breaking the bank. It will speak to a much broader audience than the plating website (and also be MUCH easier to build).
I look forward to learning from and contributing to this forum.
Jbodo, I have seen your plating wizard. Let me just say, 'wow' and 'thanks!'. It is very impressive. Let us know when the 'Classics' site is done. Looking forward to it as well as your posts on here. Greg
