Hi Scott - thank you for your post. Would it be possible for the APS to timely post the palmares from Stampshow? The awards banquet was Saturday night and I still do not see the Palmares on the APS webpage, on the APS facebook feed, twitter feed, or instagram page. I know from posts on other stamp message boards that Jim Allen won the CoC and Dan Knowles won the Reserve Grand in the CoC open competition, but I have no idea who won the Grand Award. |

The upcoming Gross sales are going to generate a great deal of publicity and it will be a good time to be in a position to capitalize on the likely uptick in interest in the hobby. |

Well the meeting with the manager of the ebay STAMP section is over and he will look into the concerns of the stamp collectors who asked questions . CONGRATULATIONS -----All the questions were a big bust !!!!! Before all of you start crying.........Let's look at what happen . First Steve Halupka is a divison manager he is not the President of the Company .......Questions asked .....Ebay Fees {that is a corporate question not for a division manager question} . WATERMARK IMAGES .......{That is a corporate question not a division manager question }.......SALES TAX {that is not a question for a division manager}....... Collaboration between APS and ebay {Nobody is ready to say a word about this } ......Feedback System {that is not a question a division manager makes, direct that to top management } So CONGRATULATIONS stamp collectors and Sellers blew the meeting and nothing was accomplished other than it became a crying session . |

QUESTIONS THAT NEEDED TO BE ASKED ------These are about the stamp section of ebay {not questions for the Supreme court or Congress or Corporate policy of ebay } ------1st. QUESTION --Why does the big three seller firms get huge percentage the front display pages in each section ,I thought we all are equal sellers in the worldwide stamp collection section they are 36% of the first two pages and this holds true in many sections they are given preference as to first displays . 2nd. question why is there so much wrong section listings ,please cut that out ,years ago you can list in your correct describtion section not list French stamps in the U.S. Plate Block section . I see the three big firms love to list in the wrong section ,it just makes it hard to go thru what you are looking for . 3th. question ...... In some sections there are 20 or 50 pages but there is no computer function to view some of the back pages ,I have to start on page one and flip thru ,most times after 6 pages I am tired and never get to see the stuff on any of the back listings ,so it is safe to say a section with 1500 items most viewers see the first 200 or 300 items and quit . |

Did anybody really expect much out of ebay? I doubt that the stamps categories are big on their radar. |

Here is a great example of why we're revamping the website. Posting should be more immediate than it is and second, it's not on the main StampShow page, but on the exhibitors section. For those folks who could not track it down. Philatelic Exhibits: https://stamps.org/userfiles/file/w...mpshow18.pdfLiterature Exhibits: https://stamps.org/userfiles/file/w...how18lit.pdf |

I wasn't there, but through various channels, I'm hearing very good things about the Columbus show. Many dealers, in general, seem to have been quite pleased with the turnout, and the logistics of the show venue as well. |

The show was very well laid out with large aisles and fairly good lighting by stamp show standards. And it was pretty well attended; the dealers I spoke with all did well. |

The convention center was HUGE, so even though it was right across the street from the show hotel, it was a good quarter mile walk to the actual show. But it could be done completely indoors, which turned out to be a good thing on several occasions. |
