Good Morning,

Hoping to have the experts look at these stamps before I put them away for good. Here are 3 Great Britain penny red stamps, perf 14. Watermark is normal.

Thanks for looking!

Hi!
Michel 8B
"the perf changed from 16 to 14 in January 1855 'cause the sheets seemed to come apart too easily"

The only thing I've noticed so far is the color differences and the "K" is joined at top and bottom in the middle stamp.

The middle stamp is alphabet 2, the other two alphabet 3.

Is there any blueing in the paper?

The 397 postmark is either Buckden or Crayford.

Hope this helps a bit!

Alright! Thank you Bobby De La Rue! You sound like an EXPERT to me!

I can't make out any blue in the paper, no.

The alphabet 3 stamps will be Scott #20, SG 36-41

The alphabet 2 stamp will fall under the same catalogue number but SG & Scott don't go to the level of specialisation of the different alphabets.
