I can't find anything on year/value/origin. I think it's Germany?

Germany`s post war time can be a bit confusing, also the stamps of this period.
You find this stamp in stampworld under Germany / British American zone. It is part of a definitive series which was also used for a while after West Germany was founded in May 1949.
Value: none.

Very nice site, indeed.
However, its topic is Germany 1872-1945. So you will not find this post-WW2 stamp there.

StampWorld is harvesting emails addresses and user info so I do not recommend them. Instead, hobbyists should learn how to do an image search since this is one of the best tools needed to ID unknown stamps.

always important to check watermarks on most older German stamps, there can be rare varieties, also in this case (watermark "1 Z").
