Some 'Germany' postal stationery, showing the changes over time.

1. Wurttenberg 5 Pfennig card
Langenurgen to Ravensburg 13.1.1885



2. Sachen 3 Pfennig card
Ravensburg internal 4 Dec 1909



3. Weimar republic 40 Pfennig card
Jmmenstadt to Berlin 23 Sept 1921



4. Bavaria 10 Pfennig plus 5 Pfennig upgrage
Munich to Bielefeld, Germany

Interesting older cards. The hand writing on the 1st and 2nd cards looks really nice.

Nice postcards,

the second card shows in the word Hier in the adres. this is not the name of a town or village. it means the adres is in the same village or town were the postcard is posted. so Ravensburg.

Hier is used in Germany but also the Netherlands(besides hier also alhier)

Modernstamps,

The hand writing on pre-WW1 cards normally seems to be much
more ornate that later.
