Hello - I recently signed up as a user for this site. I used to collect worldwide in the 80s and 90s, lost interest and sold off the collection. Decided a few years ago to start again, but only France. Unlike much British Commonwealth material, there are no watermarks to keep track of with France. But I find the varieties and shades of the Ceres and Napoleon classics to be fascinating, especially using the new Maury catalog for France. The Bordeaux issues could be a field of specialization all its own. It is a challenging area for me because I'm colorblind - how to distinguish between bister-brown, bister-green, and bister-yellow? (I ask my wife). Anyway, I look forward to participating in the forums.
