Spotted earlier today in a buy-it-now
ebay listing, described by the seller as a vertical strip of twelve mint copies of RJA50b, which have a Scott catalog value of $10 each in unusued condition.
So $79 seemed fair as an asking price for a $120 strip.
However, if one actually read the Scott Specialized Catalogue, this stamp is actually RJA62b, which has a catalog value of $35 each, making the strip "worth" around $420.
So, I happily shrugged and hit the 'buy it now' button.
What would you have done?
Jim
