just wandering what grade this stamp could receive, looked online and seems most are very off centered and grade 85 and 90's are looking a like or worse than this. would like your opinions before sending it in from Europe to get a cert Thank you

The centering looks 85. But as pointed by above, the soundness matters. Very minor faults such as corner perf crease will deduct 5-10 points. Small faults such as tiny thin (1mm) will deduct 15 point. Faults such as small thin will deduct 30 points. |

I'm probably wrong here, but when I see the centering, perforations, and light cancel on this stamp, It makes me suspect that there is more to this stamp than what is immediately seen. |

It is quite attractive. Have you done UV, watermark fluid, and 10x inspection on it? |

It does not hurt for you to send to PSE to get a cert. You can ask the stamp to be graded only if it can score 80+. From my experience, most of the time, they will find some small faults here and there. |

Looks like a tear under the S at the bottom right. If sound it's probably an 80, possibly an 85. |

The image posted by Dutch US Stamp Collector indicates the stamp is very likely reperforated at one of the sides (non-parallel).
BTW, even if sound, I don't think it would grade higher than 75/80. Centered too far up and right for anything higher IMO. |

Those are scans, not photographs? If so, then almost certainly reperforated. If photographs, can you scan (flatbed) at a decent resolution (300+ dpi) and post those? |

Possible crease emanating between 4th and 5th perf tips from bottom of stamp on left side? Perhaps ending in a tear at the edge? I see something there on both the front and back (note that the scan of back is upside down in relation to the scan of front). If totally sound I think this would probably grade 80. |
